40 Years

Happy 40th Anniversary Mom and Dad

This past weekend we headed to Macon in order to attend a Laua Celebration in honor of my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. The party was held a church reception hall and 80 of their closest friends and family attended. I am so blessed to have parents who have worked hard to stay married and in good health for 40 years. They are not in the norm in today's society and I think it is not only a great example for their children but also for their grandchildren. It was great to get to spend time with family who traveled from out of town an to see friends who we haven't visited with in a while. The Celebration was a great tribute to a marriage that is blessed.
