We headed down to Macon on Thursday of last week to visit Granny and Grandpa for the Cherry Blossom Festival. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the Cherry Blossom trees looked beautiful. The rest of the family didn't come into town until late Friday and so my mom and I took the twins to Central City Park on Friday morning to enjoy the festivities. It was our first time visiting this section of the festival. They had a petting zoo for where Gracie and Bailey were able to feed the animals. Two baby sheep had just been born three days ago and they had been named "Cherry" and "Blossom." After the petting Zoo the twins enjoyed playing in the "Cherry Blossom Train." They were so excited when they saw all of the rides as it was just like a "mini fair." Gracie and Bailey barely hit the height mark to be able to ride the rides but they did and they had a blast. They had so much fun that their Daddy took them back the next day while I enjoyed going to the Arts and Crafts Fair. While at the fair I bought an adorable handmade GA dress for Gracie, a new collar for Dixie and a cute bulletin board for twins room. All the family and cousins came over for a Barbecue that evening. We also enjoyed a great date night with all 3 of my sisters and their husbands. Granny and Grandpa have gotten to be champs at keeping all 7 grand kids! The Cherry Blossom Festival has always been one of my favorite weekends but now it is even more fun that Gracie and Bailey can join into the tradition!
